BIKE WEIGHT: LB's to ST's or KG's or G's

See cell (A3) for Pounds (Weight) to ST/LB's/KG's/G's.

OK bike weights, want to know your bike weight in something more meaningful to yourself, for example either STONEs (ST persons weight) or KILOGRAMs (KG product weights).

That is, when you know the weight of your bike, if NOT 1 of 3 following:
~ Some people are very good by judging bike weight by simply lifting your bike.
OR
~ You could get some bathroom scales weigh yourself, then weigh yourself holding onto your bike, the DIFFERENCE is the weight of the bike (WHY do this, because your bike wheels won't both fit onto your bathroom scales).
OR
~ MY personnel favourite, for getting carried with, some butchers scales, hang your bike on them, lots of bike shops say, these are the most accurate.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Smaller frames weighs less! Some MTB frame manufacturers also mention standover height in mm's (See A11 to convert to inches, see column G) or CM's (See A10 to convert to inches, see column G) in their GEOMETRY (Technical expression for frame angles and tube lengths). So if you're looking at a specific MTB in a magazine, or website review, etc, and the MTB sizes and geometry is specified:
IF the MTB STANDOVER HEIGHT is greater then your inside leg, then...... So to speak:
YOU'LL BE ON ONE LEG, CRUSHING YOUR BOLLOCKS (Slang for testicles).

Some more fascinating facts: Typical essential accessories and their weights (Specific to my bike parts, so look yours up in a manual/website, or weigh yours if you want something other then approximate):
~ a wireless computer (Approx 50g),
~ some clipless pedals (Instead of flat pedals, weight differences negligible, pair of pedals 450g to 500g approx)
~ water bottle & cage (Full with liquid about 450 g),
~ maybe some bar ends (150 g),
~ maybe pump & clip (150 g),
~ upgrade to disc brakes (60g, Total addition of F&R caliper & rotor, instead of V Brakes)
~ mudguards (Crud Catcher F 74g's + R 137 g's = 211 g's),
and perhaps some LIGHTS. There many different light styles, weights differ alot, For example:
~ my REAR led light inc batteries 40 G's, which is typical is pretty light, and
~ my FRONT high power halogen with seperate battery weighs a total of 850 G's, which is at the absolute heaviest end of the scale.

Depending of your accessories, you may have made your bike heavier by upto 2000 G's = 2 KG's = 4.4 LB's ! Surprising isn't it. For WEIGHT CONVERTER see HERE

I hang mine with string from digital scales, take the average of 3 or more readings, I tend to notice bathroom scales can be way out!
