Great way ovalise your seat tube.

Why not just shim it?

0.2mm difference on diameter is perfect for a 0.1mm shim cut from a Coke can

It's perfectly possible to make a shim from a piece of 0.1mm shim stock, and to make it correctly too

^^^^ wot he says, coke cans are 0.1 mm

I make IS caliper shims from them so no reason why you cannot make one for your seat post, it cuts easily with scissors.

(and the aluminium shutters on 3 1/2 inch floppy discs are 0.2 mm in case you were looking for thicker caliper shims)

Don't panic! Just thinking out loud really. Wanted a silver Thomson but they don't make em. Will probably get a 27.2 and shim it
