Ok I need a new bike for everyday riding.
My usuall trip is a 3 mile blast up my local hill of constant climbing and then a 1 mile skip down a very rocky, pretty much a rock garden, track back home.
I also try and get a loop of Cannock chase (Monkey) in each week.
I want a hardtail and I have between £1000/£1300 to spend.
A list of banned bike makes are:
GT
Kona
Trek
Specialized
Other than that open to ideas.
So far the best I have come up with is the Whyte 809 but the Sram gears are putting me off.
