GT Fury/DH.. Help? I guess..

Does anyone know the strength level of these?

I know there a DH rig and are strong, But how prone are they too cracks and such?

I'm kind of looking at going into DH racing.. So yeah, Some idea would be good.

If not that, What else can be recommended? I don't want a Mongoose or a Commencal.

Are you looking at new or used? If the latter, older Kona Stinkys and the like are nigh-on indestructable (but very heavy with it).

New ideally. Used is okay too.

I haven't had good times with kona. The only one I ever rode was a kikapu.

The cut on my leg still hasn't scarred properly from it. :?

T'was a bloody good ride though!

theyre raced at world cup level arent they?
so should be pretty strong

or consider demo9/glory/session/intense frame? etc.

Yeah.. They are. I was just wondering.. As no one tells you how often the frames are swapped out, How long they work for without cracking.

yeah thats a very good point as they will always have spares

not sure how far id trust carbon for downhill

that said, i was arguing with myself the other day as they use carbon for some pretty serious applications (f1 etc.)
but then its back to the 'they have lots of money and spares' thing again
