Was watching it live when it happened - I did a double take and rewound the Sky+ because I couldn't believe what I'd seen.

Seeing the crash initially I thought Johnny Hoogerland was really hurt:

Things like this just reinforce how hardcore the pro's are.

:shock: the TV channel got banned after that.
With driving like that it would make them pop some more pills to go even faster

The most amazing thing - apart from the photo of Hoogerland's thigh - is how dignified he was when interviewed after the presentation.

Chapeau Mr Hoogerland

If only some other sports "personalities" had that class.

Wow that is hardcore... Villefranche De Rouergue is the closest village to my parents (about 6km) which is where I was last week! Gutted I timed it wrong!
