rock shock deluxe shock help

hi i have to identiical rock shox deluxe shocks. the problem i have is one the one on the right of the pitcure is easy to compress as can be seen in photo one, the other is hard you have to push it aginst the floor. which one is working? so i can put it on the bike and can these be serviced?

TFTuning offer a pretty good service by all accounts, not used them myself, but they come recommended.

is there a letter stamped on the shock body ?
this will indicate the damping set up think it goes s/m/h
for soft medium hard
i'd say the easy one is goosed tho , but i might be wrong

it would be cheaper to buy a new shock than to get the old deluxe serviced.
chances are the bike will be a fair bit better with a modern shock on it.

i know it transformed my FSR when i switched from the old RS deluxe to the Fox Float R i now have on it.

if you are going to go the service route though TFTuned are an excellent choice.
