 Post subject: Rear shock ona sub five

Does it make any difference which way round my sid xc shock goes in?Iv just realised i put it back in the wrong way round, iv changed it back but would it of had any afffect?
Also does anyone know what the strange specific technology sticker on the frame is all about?

Just found this on another website:

the way round the shock it should have no effect
unless it doesnt fit one way or the other

does said SID shock have a positive & negative valve ?

if so no i don't think it will make a blind bit of difference as long as you set the pressures right.

yeah it has +ve and -ve air chambers.Just been reading how to set it up properly....Time for the curb test!
Iv had to drill the shock mounts out by a couple of mm and make some aluninium bushes to fit in it (bit like the old marin ones) so there is no play at all now. They were a tiny bit ovalised but not bad at all.
