Santa Cruz Super 8. Any good?

I've a chance of getting a Super 8 frame with shock and the elusive 160mm spaced, 14mm bolt rear wheel PLUS a Mavic on 20mm bolt through front for what I thought is a reasonable £200 (hopefully I can get a few £'s knocked off).

I'd need to get Monster T's also to suit the big-boned build.

Can anyone recommend the frame bearing in mind the rear wheel isn't made anymore?

I had one of these in around 2005, great bike... lovely frame. Check the swingarm for cracks, mine was fine but I read about a lot of people cracking them around the bracing. I'm sure you'll be fine with the rear wheel, you'll always be able to get bearings for general servicing!

I got a mint rear wheel. built to WTB DH rim.
