Hey,
I've just got some RC39's and I think they may have been re-assembled after servicing wrongly...

Shouldn't the cut out for the race be at the back? Also shouldn't they come forward from the crown rather than back?

If so then I presume a simple strip, turn the steerer round, then re-assemble should be all thats needed?

Cheers

I'm probably missing something... I usually do... but;

Undo your stem, spin forks through 180 degrees, retighten stem.

That's what I was thinking!!!

:?

It cant be that obvious......can it???

The best way would be the disc tab. It should be on the left leg as your sat on the bike.

The tab is on the left and the brace is on correctly, I'm fairly certain that it's just the legs need changing over the spin the stem around 180 degrees.

Question is does anyone have a guide to strip them RC39s?

Pace's site should have the manual for the forks on. Shouldn't be too bad to do. Have you got oil to put back on them (you might loose some when removing lower legs).

No, not got any spare... I thought they were serviced by Pace but I can't believe they'd get it wrong?

Pace guide on the website isn't that clear though...
