Hi all
im thinking of going for some rigid forks for my next ride and need to know what is the axle to crown measurement of a 100mm travel sus fork

im thinking 455mm ish??

Thanks Rob

i've got some bomber supercomps that are 47cm. others may vary as these seem to have a fair bit of spare space after they are at full load

About 470mm seems to be the going rate.
Less 25% sag gives you 445mm which is the "corrected" rigid measurement.

yeah thats about right, can vary by brand though
my 04 dj3's come up at 510mm i think
marzocchis are generally bigger
my dads old forks (rst something) were 445mm i think
and thats the size rigids we replaced them with :?

All brands vary, so you should be able to find something close to your requirements.

440mm is the manufacturers generally accepted 'correct' length for a 100mm suspension corrected rigid fork, but it will generally be a bit shorter than most forks- especially marzocchis. the bike will feel a lot 'quicker' with them on.

Perhaps because of the slop in sus forks?
