I think i set mine by jamming something in between the mech and the big ring, probably a screwdriver :lol: then adjusting it from that point onwards.

Not ideal but it works.

Hey Guys , a newbie here from Australia. just purchased a Ground control fsr 1997 - 1 owner - still to have it delivered as yet. apparently not ridden for a fair few years

great site and a wealth of knowledge - great late night reading, getting to know these awesome retro bikes

if im posting in the wrong section i know i will be told - on other forums for my trumpy daytona and my car forum , tend to ramble on there too.

anyway just puting out there that if there is a sharkfin lying around up for sale im interested.

On the above FSR can you run a standard front mech?
The e-type front mounting stub has been ground off...
Anyone done this?

since building my FSR Elite, i just wont use it! poor bugger! needs a good home! splitting this weekend......may even include a BETD linkage.....:roll:
