Depends on lots of things, weight, mood of uk customs! If you declare the full value it can vary widely. Just for comparison, my salsa mukluk was valued at $1,500 and although came in 2 boxes cost £250. My Jeff jones was around $14,000 and came in at around £2,000!

I've had a few frames, a wheelset and once a complete bike shipped over from the USA. Full bike with USPS in 2 boxes: frame and parts in one, wheels and fork in the other for 150$US total including full value insurance for 1000US. Not quick, but USPS have never lost a package yet.

Enjoy!!

It depends on the girth of the box being used. The max weight goes up to something like 57 lb but it depends on the overall dimensions. You can go on the USPS website and get a quote for shipping. I had a frame & fork sent over a few weeks back and it cost $70. UPS quote stupid amounts like $400 for the same service.
