I have a 2010 Giant Anthemx4 which has a set of Fox F100rl's up front and a fox float rear shock.

Im looking to change the front forks to 120mm, and have found someone to do a deal with.
The only problem is my forks have a 215mm steerer and the other forks only has a 180mm steerer.
How will this affect the bike. Im adding 20mm of travel up front but losing 30-35mm of head stack height.
As it is at the moment, i have 3 small headset spacers and one large headset reducer on my steerer tube, so i could just remove the large reducer.

I cant get my head around how it will affect the ride position??

depending on how high or low you have you stem
obviously on the shorter steerer the highest you can have it is as high as the steerer is

you sure 180 will fit? thats on the shorter side really
whats the width of your spacers?
got a pic of yours?
