This question is from a mate of mine - can anyone answer?

I'm looking to change forks since my USE ones are reaching the end of ther life. (The steering moves but the wheel doesnt!)

I want to keep the wheel which is a USE hub with a thick axle - i.e not QR size but about 9mm (I think! I cant get the wheel off since I need to remove the caliper and the allun bolt is siezed)

Can I get a converter to fit the wheel in a standard fork?

cheers :D

i was going to say surely USE would be able to service them for him.

worth giving them a shout to see what they say.

if he really does want shot of them, how much would he want for them ?

To answer his question - no, you can't use that wheel in a normal fork, or get an adaptor.

He'd be better off selling the fork and wheel on here - probably get £100-£150 for them - and buying a second hand fork and wheel for the same price.
