Dual Control would seem totally unnatural to me, I much prefer seperate shifters & levers. Plus you can change/upgrade one without needing to swap out the other as well.

i thought it would be un-natural aswell till i tried them.
they are supprisingly intuative to use.

I've got XT ones on my RM Vertex.
I really like them :wink:
Braking and changing gear at the same time is nigh on impossible, but i was never that good anyway 8)

I'm borrowing a friends 05 GT Avalanche whilst I'm sorting my own bike out, thats got them on as well and freaked me out the first time I tried them... Used the bike quite a few times but I won't be getting Dual Control on my bike... Had a scary moment trying to change gear and brake downhill at the sametime...

If someoen had told me back in 95 that I'd be asking for Rapidfires I'd have thought they were mad... Now though... Give me rapidfires! :lol:
