Hi all

I am thinking about renewing the bearings on my Enduro but am buggered if I'm paying £30 odd quid for a set of £5 bearings!!

Does anyone know the codes for the bearings as I only really want to disassemble the bike once to change them!

Thanks for any help

Can give you the codes for a 2004 FSR Stumpy if that helps....

But there are a lot of bearings!

(4 in the rocker, 2 at the BB area, 4 at the rear pivot) 10X£5 makes £50 in my book....

The smallest bearings are those at the rear pivot - and it makes sense to buy good ones as they are the weakest link with regard to rigidity, after the rocker/schock bushings and DU which you should probably also change.

TBH I just took the easy way out and ordered it all from BETD. Saved hassle.....

Rocker 4 X 6900RS
BB Pivot 2 X 6802VRS
Can't read what it says on the last one but think it's 528RS and there are 4 of them. I suspect the Enduro may use a different size.

Thanks for the reply

I meant I can get the whole lot for a fiver.

For example the 6900 ones are 99p each.

I just can't justify spending over the odds on things I know cost peanuts!

I'll also see what's in our machine shop at work.

At least I've got a few numbers to be going in with

Thanks again

Adam

Enduro bearing codes

Hi,

I recently got myself a 2nd hand 2004 s works enduro. I believe that my bearings have gone.

Did you manage to change yours? And did you keep a record of the codes?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Ollie
