Fork Hose Guides???

I have some Pace RC41 XCAM forks with some Hope brakes mounted on them. Trouble is there is nothing to guide the hose so am using two zip ties which are butt ugly and will eventually ruin the stickers on them. There are no V brake mounts to screw anything into or anything else for that matter.

Anyone have any ideas?

Have a go with some fairly big o-rings, folded and wrapped round the forks the way a lot of computer mounts do............use a zip tie looped throughthe ends of the o-ring and hose, tighten it to draw the ends in and hold the hose, but don't cinch it really tight- the o-rings should be easier on the decals than the plastic zip ties.

I just run the zip tie higher up than the decals on my RC40s and RC41s. You don't want too sharp a bend in your hose anyway. And the protrusion hidden away on the inside where it's not so visible.

I tried a few solutions along the way - and that's the best one so far.

I knocked a guide up with cable ties, hold on I will go take a pic

Wow that 6 cable tie thing is bonkers. Very creative. Will have a look at mounting it higher up the fork but the bottom of the legs on the RC41 ain't that long when you take the bridge out of the equation. will have a fiddle if I get time over the weekend and see what is best.

Cheers

Picture doesnt show it very clearly,

There are two going round the actual fork leg, they hold another two on the opposite axis, which in turn hold onto the ones guiding the cable

easier to show than explain

I modify moto brake cable guides for my triple clamp forks. The ones off Yamaha PW 50s and Suzuki JR 50s are size appropriate.
