Mavic Crossland - bolt conversion?

I have a pair of Mavic Crossland (cartridge bearings) on my singlespeed Carrera O' Doom. I'd like to convert the rear axle to solid, and have an axle for the purpose courtesy of Dead Rats, but I'm not sure if the axle is standard on these because of the posh bearings. Anyone know?

i think my dmr revolver front hub has cartridge bearings ans there is no thread on the exposed bits of axle. also i dont think there is any further along
i havent taken it apart but im sure it goes to a bigger axle or something and wouldve thought that normal axle might go through but be a tight fit due to pitch of thread probably being a bit bigger (maybe)
in theory it shouldnt matter as the axles should be the same size, but surely the threaded bit would cause more stress on the bearings (again, big maybe)
i dont see why it wouldnt be a problem, try it and see me thinks
