not sure what ensues with the specifics of a mountain bike one but when at college we used a risk calculation matrix annd a pretty simple one off the net i think
was a case of common sense, walk around the workshop and look for potential hazards (in this case, track, obviously there are other things to be considered)

There are lots of different versions of risk assessment forms out there, just a case of finding one you can adapt to your own needs. And remember that it isn't just about the person involved directly in the actions. Also risks for bystanders etc.

Serious question, yes.

I've had to do the odd risk assessment in the past. Would be good if someone had an example one I could crib rather than starting from scratch.

Oh no. I hope we dont have to do a complete lap of future routes to look for possible hazards. Its riding bikes in the mountains. Its hazardous from start to finish. Mark Sinnett often has accidents before he even starts :shock:
