Today I took my 7 year old son on a trail with me! He loved it! :p

Problem is now I have to find him a proper bike!

Any sugestions?

Islabikes? Well built and hold there value when its time to move on.

Reminds me of the German forum topic, too small but maybe some good ideas.

That looks fantastic!

Another vote for Islabikes. Bought one for Lola at christmas and its lovely. Beautifully set up too- ready to roll ut of the box.

I have kitted my kids out with spesh hard/hot rock bikes......they are stunning and the kids love them.......

Had that trouble years back, most the kids so called mtbs were heavier than my own  and real heavy shifting gears..feel sorry for the small blighters :? Girlfriend at the time had a 10 year old daughter that was real keen, bought her an entry level ally frame Muddyfox with LX and she got on great with it,remember them or they even still around? Was'nt painted, was bare clearcoated ally.

Islabikes again, Son got one for xmas - its great and really light.

they hold their price really well - in half decent nick you should get at around 2/3 rds of the cost back.

Just remember to measure your child in the way they describe, that way you'll be sure it fits them when it arrives. Isn't that right Dr S. :)
