Well I've been thinking of either buying a Hei Hei or Kahuna in titanium, but the new Kilauea is a lot lighter and will have a decent warranty. I'd need a new headset, seat post, disc brakes, wheels etc to go with it!

depends on your prioritys I guess, and potential resale value.

both have their virtues. With the Ti KK or HeiHei obviously being retro cool as well as supple and ability to sell on years later for same price.

if you fancy something new that will happily take all modern components (without looking a tiny bit out of place), then the carbon Kilauea is the way to go.

Personally, Id say you only live once. Buy them both!.

I'd be very keen to thrash a Kilauea though, I bet its lightning quick.
HeiHei is easier to look after though...and comfier for longer stints.

not making this much easier am I?

I like to keep my v-brakes, so a Kahuna would be good..... anyone got one for sale?
