Would be interesting to know which failed first, the metal sleeve on the inside or the carbon fork leg.

Could the flex in the carbon legs cause the metal sleeve to work harden and fail, leading to the failure of the legs themselves?

the Ti is cracked, carbon seems not to be clamped in the crown at all......

That's what I thought.

The titanium is inserted in the crown and the carbon leg bonded over the top?

This is the second set of RC31s I have seen that have failed this way. Same leg too.
