Whats this? much help needed please

I bought the beast in the pictures below (see link) on Gumtree. It has an aluminium Frame and is an amalgam of many random parts but im interested to know what the frame is and if it is really an Orange frame.

Looks like a modernish Orange Gringo ?

Your a genius fluffychicken, definately the same frame i'd say

The first year they made it by the looks of it as it has the cables routing along the side of the top tube and not the top. Thanks for the help fella.

Looks like it could be a Gringo to me. I have the 2005 version only I didn't realise how it could be made to look like an old ladies shopping bike

It's a 99 or 00 Gringo in size 21. It could be a 99 but you would need to see the drive-side dropout to tell whether it could be an 00.

It also has a 24" front wheel and a 26" rear which is a little unusual to say the least. I bought it for the wheels originally (building a marin up) as the guy said it had mavic x618 rims on M510 hubs, in truth the front is a ritchey hub with a "speed master" rim and only the rear is deore/x618.

I'll get what i need off it then split the rest and stick it up for sale on here. I don't really have space for another build so the frame will be up too
