Ovation Hubs?
I've just picked up a cheap set of disc wheels off ebay, mostly for the circa 1997 Mavic X221 rims they had been built with. The rims are as pretty much new and the braking surfaces are untouched due to them being built up on disc hubs.
I have plans for the rims, but I don't know anything about the hubs.
I believe that Ovation hubs are something to do with Marin and they have cartridge bearings which are very nice and smooth running. The wheels came with an XT M750 9 speed cassette which leads me to believe they were originally on a fairly decent bike.
So does anyone know owt about them...?
