GT range

Hi everyone,

I’ve been looking on and off for a entry level retro bike over recent years and finally bit the bullet and bought a 1998 GT avalanche.

Is there any good resource sites where I could look at the full GT range to see whereabouts this was within the range and specification etc?

Any help would be appreciated

Should be a load of catalogues on here to look through.

The avalanche sat one below the Zaskar. Probably with a mix of xt and lx components

yeah I wouldn't call an Avalanche entry level at all. It sat in the upper HT range of Gt's

Thanks for the replies that’s very helpful.

Apologies with the entry level on my initial post, I was more referring to my initial budget, so was pleasantly surprised to get something at the upper end of the range with a decent group set.

I’m picking it up on Saturday and looking forward to getting it.

I will need some flat pedals as it’s got spds, is there any cheapies ones anyone can recommend?

Define cheap? Can't go wrong with dmr v8 or v12. I run wellgo mg1 on a few bikes, and love them. Light, good grip and around 30 quid new

Was hoping for a little cheaper if honest as reluctant to spend too much on the bike as worried I’ll not use it haha
