Boxxer question...

Hi everybody

Picked up some cheap Boxxers (at least that’s what I believe they are) but they’ve not got an axle.

There are maxle’s on eBay but they’ve mostly got threaded ends and my forks have no corresponding thread.

Just smooth.

What axle do I need?

The Boxxer axle has an internal thread, so you put it through and then nip the axle cap up then do up the 4 bolts

Re:

Brilliant!

Almost exactly what I imagined.

Thanks for replying, really appreciated.

Now just to find one...

P.s. what year do you think these are?

05 onwards but pre 09

The castings lost their brake eyes in 04 and then changed diameter after 09 I think

Re:

Agree. '04 and older had no upper external adjustments, the legs ended at hex caps for the coils, adjustment was through the bottom of the fork legs or internal.
