9 speed cassette choice ?

Hi guys
I need a new 9 speed cassette on a budget , as usual
Halfrauds have a Shimano hg300 at £13.99 or a Sram pg950 £19.77

So is the Sram worth the extra few quid ? Or stick with Shimano ?

Cheers Paul

Re:

It doesn't matter which brand it is - but that particular SRAM is a lot higher in the range than that particular Shimano!
It's also very cheap compared with what they usually go for in most shops, bargain! :xmas-wink:

Re:

I go for Sram every time, Paul. Better finished, often lighter than Shimano, and always work perfectly well with whatever set up I use, road or mtb.

Getting a bit modern aren't we?

Re:

Well that's pretty conclusive then :D

Hi Mike , modern ? I think I'm still in the dark ages lol ! Looking at a guys bike the other day who had a rear cassette with a bigger sprocket than my front chain ring

Cheers Paul

Re:

I know, gearing had gone mad! I bought a 10s cassette recently with a 42! They do go up to 50 now, and I think 12s!
