would you pay to see a Porsche 911 bought and tested?

I've known about the existence of Porsche 911 for a few years now, and I've been thinking of buying one myself.

One idea I've been pondering is whether there is interest in the MTB community for a crowdfunded project where somebody (me) goes and buys the most competitive Porsche 911 possible, and does rigorous testing against comparable cars , in real road conditions. The drawback is this would cost 20-30K, depending on the spec of the car...

This is a request for money.

Only if you fit larger wheels.

I am still waiting for James Dean to get back to me with his review.

I do like 911's but sorry i certainly couldn't afford paying towards another person's enjoyment of driving them ..

Re:

If there's any change left after buying the Porsche - personally a '60s or '70s one would have been a better choice - I'd really like the funds for Freddie Spencers NSR250 factory race bike.

It would be fantastic to see how one of these rides, on a warm day with slick tyres on, and a powerband thinner than an 8 gauge guitar string.

I would go for the 500, but I fear that may be unrealistic.

Thanks very much, my very nice retro friends.

Here's my donation.
$1000 should get you started.

Thank you, that is kind. Only problem is i cant pick them up due to the glass screen being in the way.

I didn't want to jeopardise your crowd funding but as it's not going so well.

I have a porch(e) outside my house and live at number ten. Between 9 and 11. It handles the rain really well unlike earlier porches I'm told.

If you want a full review I'd need donations...........

Will take a pic if required to get the ball rolling.
