All Wheel Drive

Re:

Fairfax Pat told me story of putting the bike on a stand, pedal fast in top gear to get both wheels going, then slam the back brake on and watch it all fall to bits.

Christiani ? Seen one on ebay a few years ago; there is a rod that runs through the top tube and then bevel gears to turn the front wheel.

Make you wonder how long the gears will last when ridden through mud.

Re:

Mud, grit, stones etc.... Exposed bevel gears are a recipe for disaster where I ride!

Re:

In a cross race i did recently a guy rolled up to the start line on a fat bike. I think the only thing that could possibly of made his day worse would of been having that as a drivetrain.

His fatbike was so bad in the mud it nearly didn't get off the start line.

One thing that could "of" made his day better would "of" been using a verb instead "have" a preposition. Don it you thing?

It's "could have" or "could've", not "could of". Likewise "would have".

No idea? Yeah, I know.
Relevant? Yep, you can't english.
Helpful? Maybe, if you take it on board.

What on earth does 'you can't english' mean?

If we wanted grammar police, surely they should be trained?

I imagine the front gear on that bike would be simple to enclose.
