Anyone know a good source for wide profile tyres in 20" size? Looking for something a bit +sized looking for my son's 20" mountain bike that I'm building....
Most offerings are a touch too skinny. I'm think on the healthier side of 20x1.75 so around the 1.90-2.00 size if possible???

Re:

Quite a few iirc, BMX land to look at as well.
Conti Explorer are 1.75 which for that size wheel is quite wide.

But a common one is
Schwalbe
who do
Black Jack in 1.9" nice everyday grippy tyre
Little Joe 2.0" (a dedicated 'kids' tyre iirc) newish
Nobby Nic possibly ? they do a 24" tyre anyway.

loads of smoothish tre too.

Re:

Knobbly is the way forward, I was actually looking for something like the Kenda 8 block, I'm watching some on eBay but these tend to end up quite pricey.
I've seen some on CRC for around £9-£11 which I might try out...

Tons of 20" BMX tires available in 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 and maybe some 2.3. You can still get Maxxis 20" knobby trials tires as well, I think they are 2.5ish.
