Such a shame at this point in the Caldera's life that it had gone from high end Columbus tubing in 96/7, down to just plain old double butted chromoly. It has the same frame as the Lava Dome of that year, just much better kit.
That all said, it should still ride really well for one of the last "old" style Kona steel framed bikes.
