Gt LTS with a 66cc engine

I know, its brilliant! but if the chain is attached to the motor and the crank does that mean the pedals keep spinning at over 30mph like some high speed fixie? Seems dangerous
 
I think the chain drive from the engine is attached to a sprocket which attaches to the bolt holes where the disc brake would go on the rear hub, so the free wheel would let you keep the crank arms from spinning.....I hope

nope, look at the pics...

The output sprocket from the engine goes via a chain to the big ring on the chainset!
