Just won these!!!
Just wont these for far less than I bid.
Gonna turn one into a AWD 2000w electric for a friend. Building a 48v pack with at least x192 li-ion cell's sourced from laptop batteries.
The other I'm gonna fix up as a "light"* DH bike for use on rougher trails around here. Now, I'm not a downhill guy, but this is not your modern downhill sled.... I'm currently riding a 2000-1 Jamis Dakar Sport, an extra 2-3 inches of travel should be fun.
* "light" as in light use, the bike will weigh in at 40+ pounds easy. I'm down for the exercise, any direction I have to climb 1200+ feet to go somewhere or get back.
Now I just need needle bearings to replace every bushing, ala Velomech's Godlike restoration thread.
