Bargain. I love mine - it was the first truly expensive bike I ever bought new, from a shop, with cash! In hindsight it did fall between 2 eras; it's bombproof but even at the time 5.2" of travel meant it wasn't a full-on DH bike, and it was only a few years until that kind of travel was found on much lighter trail bikes. I still ride mine though, and if you can get up the climbs it sure rewards you on the downs - feels like it's got much more suspension that it actually does.
