This question is fair but the answer seems strange
Cash is king right.... why would you not want cash on collection... payment before... then collect... :?
Q: Hi, if fortunate enough to win the auction, would it be possible to collect and pay for the bike shortly after the auction finishes on the Wednesday evening, from Dursley?. Thanks, Andrew
A: There would be no problem in picking up the bike in person but payment would need to be made in advance so as not to leave me exposed and to be fair to other bidders who will be bidding on these terms

Yeah, i spoke to owner last week and managed to get a few pics. really odd setup for 97 frame.
you cant see in the ebay pic but it has horrible XT dual control brake\gear levers
Ive even asked to view the bike with the intention of paying in cash and he declined
sounds like the bikes been stripped of its XTR group and SID`s and rebuilt with a sketchy XT Group
is what it is i guess
