Bid for £6000 removed - sold for £300. That's about fair , i guess. Weird auction!

Takes two bidders to get it to £6,000 - one with a max bid of aprox £5,990 and one at £6,000+.

Deffinitely well suspect!

known scam where 2 people bid together ,1 bid very high to push price up and deter other people from bidding , the other bids low . near end of auction , first bidders retracts his high bids and second bidders get item very cheap .

But wouldn't the low scam bidder have his price pushed up anyway by the genuine bidders testing the high scam bidder's false, to be retracted bids? The item then selling to the low scam bidder who's had to beat the genuine bidders. It'll sell for it's value.
