Proflex XP-X (UK version of 856) frame and forks Â£60

This is over on the Proflex forum, I thought I'd stick it here (not my bike).

Â£60 plus postage incl forks and rear deore brake caliper. Size medium. Let me know if you struggle to register and get in touch with the owner - I have his email address as I've bought things off him before.

Ooooh........sorely tempted!!

How does this compare to XP-6, XP-8 frames? Is it a newer version using the proflex numbering- XPx= XP-10?

XP6 was world cup frame, XP8 and XPX were a new world cup frame with extra gusset on down tube and no rear brake pierce and better componentry when built up. I am led to believe they were a UK only option and are essentially an 856. I have the brochure that was on offer over on ID Riders if you'd like it, PM me your email address and I'll send it.
