Very expensive when it came out .

and very complicated , second cable I think to move the mech .
 
..bargain..last time i ve seen a set it went for >500.- u$

the derailleur doesn t have the spring to move to smaller/larger cogs. in both directions it moves via the cable.

functionally similar, though works with fluid/hydraulic
