'97 P2's mad price

ouch. bidder 3 obviously wanted em bad, put in a big overbid. or poss put in £4350 instead of £43.50 hehe
either way i doubt he was expecting the bidder 4 to go so high, maybe just frustrated at getting auto outbit the whole time.

There's something gone wrong with that auction. If they've come off a 1996 or 97 Koa (presumably 97 as they're ahead), then they're not even triple-butted. Value £20-25 normally, but three bidders have gone way beyond that for some unknown reason.

Long unthreaded steerer might account for a slight increase above the norm but I'd not expect to see them go more than 35.

Wiggle were selling new P2s for £40 a while ago, and they're still available at other stores for £70, thats the triple butted versions.

As with the price of so many things these days, the 2nd hand price goes mad and is often more than you would pay for new, not because its worth it, but because the buyers haven't done their homework! Muppets.

auction removed. shill bidder found out or buyer accidentally overbid?

Shill bidding for the listing to be pulled by eBay, otherwise it would go to second chance offer or be relisted.
