Cannondale SM800 frame

I thought that it might have been. Didn't the SM800 have a similar paint job but black with orange splatter?

Yes it had. SM800 was available with beautiful metallic Jade paint as well.
The difference was that the SM800 had Pepperoni fork instead of Ritchey Logic found in the SM700. And SM700 had Odyssey Aerator seatpost which had an integrated pump whereas the SM800 had a normal seatpost. Otherwise the parts specs were similar. In 1992 & 1993 the bikes were identical except for the frame of course.
