I didn't win this saddle but since the end of the aucton I have been contacted by the seller saying he has another one which i can have for my highest bid.
This sounds to me like he used his mates to bump the price up and when i didn't take it any higher has now decided to take me up on my offer, which was a bit higher than i really wanted to go..
tempted to buy it as will complete the retro Kona but will feel a bit scammed ..

What d'ya reckon, should I stand by my principles ??

Offer him what you would have been happy paying and see if he takes you up on it...

The plot thickens ...

I have just checked my messages to find another ebay member is now saying he has the same saddle plus loads more NOS gear so would i be interested..

have mailed him for a picture and price, will see what he comes back with..

Think I'll tell the original seller to re-list the item and see if the same guy pushes the price up again....
