they never seem to go much higher than that even with front mech .

B***er! There was me hoping it'd likely go to high, & save me from having to buy it... :?

May have to shift one of my other bikes (the saracen I guess) if it does work out... I just spent far too much time drooling over a black / purple one of these in the bike shop when they came out!

i have a mint top of the range kirk unrestored (purple with silver fork) with the 531 fork and full dx for sale
check my gallery
the bike now has matching retro tyres and a rolls ti saddle not shown in pic
open to offers :wink:

Sorry - would only really be after the frame, & I'll only be bidding if it stays cheap... :? I certainly don't need another hardtail, I just have a soft spot for these! If anyone else wants it more than me, let me know & I won't bid...
