I thought that I'd buy one and see what the fuss is about.

If you want to be killed by somebodies 'yap', how about Joe Murray? Talks the talk about speccing his own brand parts on Konas, but now works for Shimano. Sold out like Pace.

I didn't know he went to work for Shimano... I hope he's not responsible for that Rapid Rise BS. But he did do good things at Voodoo after he left Kona. Hence the search for my beloved DJab frame.

joe murray was riding proto shimano stuff real early on so its no great surprise. he was one of the first riding 8spd shimano mtb stuff.
