Very nice, but no shipping to the UK, as is normal with Germany. :(

They are going to go massive.

I have a decent stash of NOS, but nothing in this kind of bracket. Makes me wonder where people find this stuff.

Great. Hopefully materials technology has progressed sufficiently in the intervening decades that you can actually ride these things occasionally without them cracking.

That was my first reaction too, because they are so perfect, with no soiling at all from storage.

On the other hand, who would go to the time and trouble to repro something so niche, that if they turned up for sale, even in a very small quantity, it would instantly arouse suspicion and risk killing your knock off business and reputation.

Knock off Apple products, I understand why they exist, but knockoff Kooka cranks...such limited appeal and a knowledgeable customer base.

Very odd, because they literally do look like they were made yesterday.

I suppose it will come down to provenance.

I'd agree with that.

They could well have been found lurking in the depths of a bike shop somewhere. Or belonged to a sponsored rider, perhaps as spares long forgotten in the loft. But the main reason for my skepticism... To be that perfect after all these years they would need to be in their original packaging. Where's the packaging?

@ all Retrobikers interested in those Kooka cranksets:
--------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry to disappoint you folks, the cranks are NOT NOS!!
I've known this guy for ages and wondered why all his stuff is basically only NOS...
well it is not: He does the elox himself or with the help of sby...either way he should label them re-furbished....would be
more appropriate and honest......BUT HEY, it's 2021....everything is named in a way, but it is not....
sadly many/most people can't distinguish fake from real or vice versa....
