I found this beauty during my daily "troll" thru the web:
MC San An in raw aluminum.

Seller and I agreed on price, shipping cost, insurance....

BUT (and this is a big but  )

...He wants a bank transfer only - doesn't do Paypal - but obviously he'll take payment in person.

I'm a bit leery of bank transfers, and "in person" is not feasible (I'm in USA), so...

Can anyone out there get this for me? Naturally I'll understand completely if you want to get it for yourself.

If anyone is looking for an intermediary for bike stuff from USA, keep me in mind. I'm still on the hook to return favors, and you guys know who you are, so just let me know.

Thanks for your consideration.

This chap in Germany (granted not a small place  ) appears to be keen to offer support for foreign buyers - perhaps he could assist you?

It seems to be the way, that many german sellers on the site don't have Paypal, so it's not out of the ordinary, unfortunately.

Incidentally, if you pay for a good (or service) with Visa you should be covered in the event that something doesn't work out.

That said, I suffered a bad experience on ebay-kleinanzeigen.de with a seller going by the name of Georg Buresch(seller initials MG) on there, so be vigilant, and don't pay via F&F unless it's someone you explicitly trust or dealt with before.
