Perhaps it's just that Sunday evening is a good time to end an auction, but doesn't £70 seem quite a lot to pay for a pretty average pair of 97 XTR shifters? I've got a 98 advert here with them listed new for £79

Sorry ,i didnt realize it was the 8 speed,its the 9 speed ones that are £99new
