Too true...the i-beam, ergo grips and (arguably) the tyres are instant value reducers. Paint combo is maybe a touch marmite as well - lovely frame though

Yep I like the frame. I know Splashbacks were popular when they came out but I think they look terrible and ruin any bikes that wears them!

I thought the spec was a bit iffy for what is probably a nice riding frame. Certainly at that price.

I've a Caygill 653 MTB frame that's very similar in detail, right down to the cable stops, bet they're close in build dates. Lovely frames, could be a nice thing that with a bit of love and nicer post, bars etc.

653 - Was a mixed tubeset with a 531pro main triangle. Stays used 753r and fork blades were borrowed from the 531c tube set.
