After looking at the not so good pictures a bit more, there seems to be a few marks, im not sure about the black, so called dripped paint either, touch up maybe? definatly needs looking over before purchase.

If the bike had been a 17" and in the condition he described, i would pay that much for it though.

Have a big pic - I dont like that paint either. The paint on my steel Konas was always quite tough, even the aluminium frames the paint was hard to damage.
