:D size 21", suit someone over 5'9"

A lot over 5'9"!!
:D Well, I'm not arguing, but I'm 5'8" and I can ride it.
It would be ideal for a taller bloke as there aren't many vintage MTB's of this size out there.

That's a 21" frame isn't it?
I'm 5'9" and ride something around the 17-18" mark.......

And that's correct, especially on a mountain bike where you want a smaller triangle with longer extensions.
All I'm saying is that at 5'7" I can ride it with the seat right down, but I wouldn't buy one that size especially not for riding offroad, descending would be a challenge.
If someone put road tyres on it and were over 5'9" they'd probably be OK.
I've just remeasured the bike and it is 21" from centre of crank to top of frame, I've said that in the advert and it's unlikely some novice who doesn't know frame sizes is going to buy it unless they want to hang it on their wall as an investment.
