Yep, seen 'em before and never cheap. Some people wait quite a while before getting a pair. It's quite possible they won't sell. Lately, it seem the veloculture is putting some pretty high initial bids on things and they aren't always selling.

I'll echo the above, Sky seems to be starting some stuff über pricey, but then put up a Nukeproof/Ti spokes rear wheel for a 50 bucks start price? I think its fair to say he knows more about this stuff than me though.

I've met the seller in person. Very nice guy, and he's one of the original members of MTBR VRC. If he says $250, then thats what someone will pay.
